The officers of the Agriculture Department are encouraging the farmers for this type of farming by running an awareness program in the district.

Scientists say that neither soil nor land is required in aeroponic technique. In this the plant is grown in the air. With this technique potato seedlings are prepared in the nursery. Experts say that first of all an aeroponic unit is made for this. In this unit, arrangements are made for the water, fertilizers and other essential nutrients available for the irrigation of the plant. Then the nutrients and irrigation are given to the potatoes by technology. Potatoes are produced in such a way that there is no risk of disease in the plants.
Potatoes come in 80 days, 10 times more yield
Scientists say that if the yield from this technique is water, then the farmer needs to take care of the crop properly. Potato crop is prepared in 70 to 80 days by aeroponics technique. The farmer can cut it and take it for sowing. If someone wants to cook and eat at home, he can eat. The good thing is that after sowing potato in this technique, it grows very fast. By taking advantage of this technique, you can get up to ten times more yield. It does not require much space either.
