Republic Day 2023 India Parade Flypast: During the 74th Republic Day celebrations in the national capital Delhi, the Duty Path Parade concluded with a flypast by Indian Air Force fighter jets. A total of 50 aircraft participated in the flypast, including Rafale, MiG-29 and Sukhoi-30 MKI fighter jets along with C-130 Super Hercules and C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft.
Many videos of flypast have been shared by the Air Force. In these, a video of multirole fighter jet Rafale seems astonishing. The Chief Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, A. Bharat Bhushan Babu has tweeted this video, as well as informed that this video is of Vijay Formation in the flypast, which was executed by multirole fighter single Rafale.
Why is there a flypast?
Let us tell you that every year the Republic Day parade in Delhi ends with the flypast of the Air Force. It is one of the biggest attractions for the spectators during the entire parade. The purpose of the flypast is to present a glimpse of the country’s strength in the sky. During this time, the gaze of every spectator who came to watch the parade, looks straight at the Air Force planes performing amazing stunts in the sky and gives goosebumps, as well as feels proud of their Air Force. During this, several categories of fighter aircraft of the Air Force are included in the flypast. These aircraft are seen in the sky in a sequence of many shapes, which are called formations. These include Trishul Formation, Amrit Formation, Bhim Formation, Netra Formation, Vajrang Formation, Baj Formation and Vijay Formation etc.
Rafael’s victory formation makes you feel like playing in the sky
The video of Vijay formation of Rafale fighter jet makes one feel like frolicking in the sky. The inside and outside view captured by the camera fitted in its cockpit, puts you in awe. The pictures of the capital Delhi may have never been taken from the sky in this way. The fighter pilot seems to be controlling it like a toy in his hands. The plane turns completely upside down and there is no wrinkle on the pilot’s face. I want to watch this video of Rafael again and again. At present, Rafale aircraft is the most powerful fighter jet in the Indian Air Force.

fog ruined the fun
Let us tell you that on Thursday, due to the dense sheet of fog in Delhi, the level of visibility decreased to about 800 meters, due to which the people who came to watch the parade could not fully enjoy the flypast. People wanted to capture this chilling sight with their mobile cameras, but could not do so due to fog and mist. For people to enjoy the flypast of the Air Force, the Air Force has shared many videos made with the help of cockpit cameras of the planes on social media.
