FCI will do e-auction of wheat on Wednesday
To bring the rising prices of wheat in the country under control, the central government has planned to launch 30 lakh tonnes of wheat in the market. But it also has to be ensured that the common man also gets the wheat directly. It should not happen that big businessmen buy and stock wheat. In view of this, e-auction of wheat is being done in the country at the level of Food Corporation of India ie APFCI. FCI will conduct e-auction of wheat every Wednesday. tomorrow is Wednesday. On this day wheat is to be sold in different states of the country. Wheat traders need to be prepared.
9.2 lakh metric tonnes of wheat was sold in the first week
Last Wednesday also e-auction of wheat was done in different states of the country. As per reports, 1150 bidders participated in the FCI e-auction from different states across the country. About 9.2 lakh metric tonnes of wheat was sold to small, medium and big wheat traders. The highest number of bidders in the first week were in the range of 100 to 499 million tonnes. After this traders were present to buy 500-1,000 million tonnes of wheat. After that 50-100 million tonnes of wheat was demanded. Only 27 bidders placed bids for the maximum quantity of 3000 MT.
The common man will get flour at Rs 29.5 per kg
FCI has offered 22 lakh metric tonnes of wheat out of 25 lakh metric tonnes through e-auction. At the same time, a total of 30 lakh metric tonnes of wheat will be launched in the market. But the central government has made it clear that the flour made available to the common man at various outlets will be at the rate of Rs 29.5 per kg. Flour will not be sold to anyone at higher prices than this. Tell that till now the price of wheat in different states of the country has remained at Rs 40 to 50 per kg. In such a situation, the cost of flour can be easily estimated.
