Talking to media persons at the Mullivaikkal Memorial in Thanjavur, Nedumaran said it was the right time for Prabhakaran to come out given the international situation and the powerful rebellion of the Sinhalese people against the Rajapaksa regime in Sri Lanka.

Along with this, Nedumaran appealed to Eelam Tamils ​​(Sri Lankan Tamils) and Tamils ​​across the world to remain united in giving full support to Prabhakaran. He also called upon the Tamil Nadu government, parties and the people of Tamil Nadu to stand with Prabhakaran.

Responding to a question, Nedumaran said he was in touch with Prabhakaran’s family members, who have informed about his recovery. He also claimed that he had got consent from the LTTE leader to release this information.
