LTTE Leader Prabhakaran Alive: LTTE chief Prabhakaran has claimed that he is alive. World Confederation of Tamils President P Nedumaran has claimed this by issuing a statement in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. Let us tell you that in 2009, the Sri Lankan Army had launched a military operation in which Prabhakaran was said to be killed.
Nedumaran said, I can confirm that Tamil National leader Prabhakaran is alive. He also said that he is making this disclosure with the consent of Prabhakaran’s family. Nedumaran claimed that the LTTE chief is alive and well. He will soon come out and announce a new plan for a better life for Tamils.
‘Right time for Prabhakaran to come out’
Talking to media persons at the Mullivaikkal Memorial in Thanjavur, Nedumaran said it was the right time for Prabhakaran to come out given the international situation and the powerful rebellion of the Sinhalese people against the Rajapaksa regime in Sri Lanka.
Along with this, Nedumaran appealed to Eelam Tamils (Sri Lankan Tamils) and Tamils across the world to remain united in giving full support to Prabhakaran. He also called upon the Tamil Nadu government, parties and the people of Tamil Nadu to stand with Prabhakaran.
LTTE leader’s consent claim
Responding to a question, Nedumaran said he was in touch with Prabhakaran’s family members, who have informed about his recovery. He also claimed that he had got consent from the LTTE leader to release this information.
