Aero India 2023: The photo of Hanumanji on the indigenous supersonic aircraft HLFT-42 of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) at Aero-India 2023, which started on Monday (February 13) in Bengaluru, was removed on Wednesday (February 14). HAL CMD CB Ananthakrishnan gave this information.
CMD CB Ananthakrishnan said on the growing controversy that it was not done intentionally. For this reason the picture of Lord Hanuman has been removed. In fact, on the first day of Aero India 2023, HAL displayed the HLFT-42 aircraft in the show. Hanuman ji’s photo was pasted on its back. HLFT-42 is the next generation supersonic training aircraft which will play an important role in the training of modern fighter aircraft.
What’s in HLFT-42?
On behalf of HAL, it was said that HLFT-42 has modern avionics facilities like Active Electronically Scanned Array, Electronic Warfare Suite, Wire Control’s Infrared Search and Track with Fly. ‘Self-reliant formation flight’ to be demonstrated by HAL with the help of 15 helicopters in a five-day aerospace and defense show at the Air Force base in Yelahanka.
