The method is different in Men’s IPL
On the other hand, the way to make it to the finals in Men’s IPL is completely different. In this, the top-4 teams play playoff matches. In this, the teams at number one and two get two chances to make it to the finals. At the same time, the teams at number three and four have to play two matches to get a place in the final.
In this, the first qualifier match takes place between the teams at number one and two. The winning team in this reaches the finals. At the same time, the losing team has one more chance. After this, the eliminator match is played between numbers three and four. In this, the losing team is out of the tournament and the winning team plays a qualifier match with the losing team between number one and two. The winning team becomes the second finalist.
