According to media reports, Dinesh Mali is doing similar cultivation of red potatoes in Bhootgaon located in Sirohi district of Rajasthan. Farmer Dinesh told that he has 80 bighas of land. But the difficulty was that the land was lying barren. Then later the land was made fertilizer by doing all the efforts. After that potato cultivation was started.
Orange variety potato brought from Gujarat
But before sowing potatoes, there was a crisis that which crop should be sown, so that we can get better yield. Its information was gathered online and by going to the Agriculture Department. Later on red potato was known. Its better variety is orange. Good variety of Santara was known to be in Gujarat. Cuttings were brought from there and it was sown in its own field.
Potato chips will be sent to Gujarat’s company
Potato cuttings have been brought from Gujarat. At the same time, a plan for its consumption has also been made in Gujarat. It has been sown in November. This crop will be ready after ripening in 120 days. Orange chips are better. The consumption of its chips will be sent to the Gujarat company only. Talks have also been held regarding this.
