what are the conditions
More than 57 thousand cattle have lost their lives due to lumpy skin disease in the country. Maximum 37,000 deaths have occurred in Rajasthan, while a large number of cattle have also died in Gujarat, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Delhi.
To prevent this infection, Got Pox vaccines are being administered in emergency, which are proving to be very effective. Lumpy skin disease is caused by a virus called capripax and spreads to cattle and buffaloes by the bite of flies, mosquitoes and ticks (parasites).
In the beginning, boils and pimples appear on the body of animals, in which there are deep wounds. There is unbearable pain in these wounds, due to which animals start moaning and give up their lives while suffering in high fever. Due to this disease, cattle rearers have to bear huge losses.
