1.37 lakh farmers will be trained

55 centers will be opened for packing and processing of coarse grains
The Uttar Pradesh government is planning to deliver coarse grains to every household. For this, such outlets will also be prepared in the state. Where processing, packing and distribution of coarse grains can be done. For this, 55 centers will be opened. According to the plan of the state government, there is a plan to set up such centers in Mobile Outlet, Mandi as well. But first the state government will open such centers at the village level.
Millet will get boost from Shree Anna Yojana
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sita Raman has launched Shri Anna Yojana in the budget. Through Shri Anna Yojana, the central government will encourage coarse grains. Actually, the dependence of Indians increased on wheat, paddy and other grains. For this reason, the consumption of coarse cereals like Jowar, Bajra, Kuttu, Sama, Sugar, Ramdana etc. decreased. The effect of reduced consumption was that the farmers reduced its sowing. It remained confined to some parts of the country. Coarse grains are very important in terms of nutrients. That is why the Modi government is insisting on promoting it. Agricultural experts say that jowar gluten is gluten free and is a good source of protein. It is very beneficial for diabetes patients.
