V Muraleedharan’s House Attacked: Unidentified miscreants allegedly targeted the residence of Union Minister V Muraleedharan and broke its window panes in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram. The police gave this information on Thursday (February 9). Police said that the window pane of the parking lot at the residence of Muraleedharan at Ullur in Thiruvananthapuram was broken.
According to the police, the employees of his office found the window glass broken at 11 am and on receiving the information, the medical college police personnel reached the spot. A police officer told that they have found blood stains from the spot. The woman who came to clean on Thursday morning first came to know about this attack.
What did the police officer say?
He told that investigation has been started in the matter and efforts are being made to nab the people responsible for the incident and find out their motive. A senior police officer inspecting the spot said that blood stains have been found from the spot which have been sent for forensic examination. Neighbors said they did not hear any sound of attack or commotion.
Muraleedharan busy with Parliament proceedings
A team headed by Deputy Commissioner of Police Ajit Kumar is probing the matter. Police officials are scanning the CCTV footage installed in the surrounding areas to identify the accused. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has demanded a thorough probe into the incident. Union Minister Muraleedharan has not yet reacted to the attack as his office said he was busy with Parliament proceedings.
