Delhi To Jaipur In 3 Hours: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Will dedicate the Delhi-Dausa-Lalsot section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to the nation on Sunday (February 12). After its inauguration, it will take only 3 hours to go from Delhi to Jaipur. It will be completely opened for traffic from Tuesday (February 14). The distance between Sohna and Dausa is 246 km, while the entire Delhi-Mumbai Expressway connecting the two major cities of India will be 1,380 km long. The Delhi-Dausa-Lalsot section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is 246 km long, developed at a cost of over Rs 12,150 crore. With the commissioning of this section, the travel time from Delhi to Jaipur will be reduced from five hours to about three hours. The opening of this section will also boost economic development in the entire region.
Expressway will pass through these districts of Haryana
The Sohna-Dausa section will cover a distance of 160 km in Haryana and will pass through Gurugram, Palwal and Nuh districts. This will include 11 villages of Gurugram district, seven villages of Palwal and 47 villages of Nuh district. This section will be directly connected to the Mumbai-Delhi Expressway – from DND to Jaitpur, from Jaitpur to Ballabhgarh and from Ballabhgarh to Sohna.
India’s longest expressway
The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be the longest expressway in India, with a total length of 1,386 km. With its construction, the travel distance between Delhi and Mumbai will be reduced by 12 percent and the length of the road will be reduced from 1,424 km to 1,242 km.

There will also be a reduction of 50 percent in the travel time. Earlier, where the journey used to take 24 hours, now it will take 12 hours. This expressway will pass through six states – Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra and will connect major cities like Kota, Indore, Jaipur, Bhopal, Vadodara and Surat.
