Ladli Behna Yojana: Various schemes are being run across the country for the development of agriculture and the welfare of farmers. Technical assistance is provided through some schemes, while some schemes provide financial support to the farmers. The Central Government is running many schemes to provide financial assistance from its level, but the State Governments also provide economic empowerment to every section of the farmers on their own lines. Madhya Pradesh government has also done many things for the expansion of agriculture sector and in the interest of farmers. The agriculture sector of the state is also setting new records every day.
The state government is also providing subsidy on agricultural inputs ranging from animal husbandry, agriculture machinery. A provision of Rs 22,000 has been made every year for the economically weaker section doing agriculture in the state.
This money will not be transferred directly to the bank account of eligible farmers through different schemes, which will provide relief to the farmers to a great extent.
Financial help from these schemes
Till now, small farmer families in Madhya Pradesh get Rs 6,000 annually under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana of the central government and Rs 4,000 under the Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana of the MP government. Rs 12,000 was being given as annual benefit, but from now on poor, laborers and small farmer women will also be given Rs 12,000 as annual financial help.
Farmers who are already getting the benefits of PM Kisan Yojana and Kisan Kalyan Yojana, the women of those families will also be able to get financial assistance of Rs 12,000 from now. In this way, the farmer’s family will get financial support, financial constraints will be removed and special help will be given in meeting the personal expenses of agriculture and farming.

What is Ladli Bahna Yojana
The Government of Madhya Pradesh will directly transfer one thousand rupees every month to the poor and middle class women of the state in their bank accounts. This is the Ladli Bahna scheme, under which applications will be started from International Women’s Day i.e. March 8.
Beneficiaries of this scheme will be identified and applications will be taken from women by visiting villages and wards. With this scheme, the women of Madhya Pradesh will get economic empowerment and the economic condition of the families will also be strengthened.
