At the same time, the amount of paddy purchased on MSP is also being sent to the account of farmers from the level of state governments on time. Farmers should not wander here and there for money. Apex will send 22 thousand crore rupees to the farmers’ account
Paddy procurement was started in Chhattisgarh from 1 November. A target was fixed to procure paddy by January 31. January 31 has passed. The state government has almost completed paddy procurement. At the same time, there is a crisis in front of the farmers whether they are getting money in lieu of paddy purchase or else Mark Fed has released 22 thousand crore rupees to Apex Bank for the payment of paddy purchase. The farmers who have not received the payment for the purchase of paddy. This amount will be sent to the account of those farmers.
Paddy procurement reached equal to the target
The state government had set a target of 110 lakh metric tonnes of paddy procurement till January 31. Till January 30, the records of paddy purchase in the state have come to the fore. According to him, surpassing all the previous records of paddy procurement, 107 lakh metric tonnes of paddy was procured in the state till January 30. This paddy purchase has been done from 23.39 lakh farmers of the state.
DO issued for lifting 96 lakh metric tonnes
The state government buys paddy. But for consumption and their safe storage, it is also necessary to raise them. In this episode, the lifting of paddy has been started for custom milling. Out of 107 lakh metric tonnes of paddy procurement, DO has been issued for the lifting of about 96 lakh metric tonnes of paddy. Relative to this, the millers have lifted more than 89 lakh metric tonnes of paddy. At the same time, 24.98 lakh farmers have been registered for the purchase of paddy in the state this year. 2.32 lakh new farmers were involved in this. Normal paddy was procured in the state at the rate of Rs 2040 per quintal and grade-A paddy at Rs 2060 per quintal.
