International Year of Millets 2023: Farmers artists also presented a tableau in the parade organized on the duty path on the occasion of 74th Republic Day of the country. This was the tableau of ICAR i.e. Indian Agricultural Research Institute, dedicated to the International Year of Nutritious Cereals. In this tableau, the benefits related to the cultivation of coarse grains and its consumption were enumerated. On this tableau of ICAR, crops of 6 millets, Jowar, Bajra, Ragi, Kutki, Kangni and Sawan, identified for the International Year of Millet were seen.
