PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: The Central Government has not yet issued any official statement regarding the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, but an eagerness is being seen regarding the upcoming 13th installment. Soon there will be an increase in management work in rabi crops, for which money will be required. Most of the farmers depend on the installments of Samman Nidhi for such small and big expenses related to farming. Speculations were rife that the 13th installment might be released on January 26 on the joint occasion of Basant Panchami/Republic Day, but it did not happen. Experts believe that the possibilities of releasing the 13th installment on February 18 are strong. The reason behind this is very special in itself.
Because installments come every 4 months
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, small-marginal farmers with 2 hectares of land or less are given an incentive amount of Rs 6,000 every year. This amount is transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiary farmers through DBT in three installments of Rs 2-2 thousand each.
There is always a gap of 3-4 months between each new installment and the next installment. For example- the 11th installment of PM Kisan was released on 31 May 2022, after which the 12th installment was sent on 17 October. Now, according to this math, speculation is being made that the 13th installment can be released exactly after 4 months on 18th February. This day is also special because Mahashivaratri festival is to be celebrated on 18 February in India. This is the reason that on February 18, there are full chances of getting Rs 2,000 for the 13th installment in the farmers’ account.
What needs to be done for the 13th installment?
If you are also a beneficiary of PM Kisan Yojana and want to get installments of Samman Nidhi without any hindrance, then the following tasks have to be completed. Get the beneficiary farmers linked to their bank account with Aadhaar number as soon as possible.

Verification of land records or verification of agricultural land or verification of land records has been made mandatory. Its purpose is to know whether the beneficiary farmer has 2 hectares or less of land in his name or not.
In the past, lakhs of landless farmers, farmers with large farms and two members of the same family have taken advantage of the installments of PM Kisan. Due to such fraud, eligible farmers do not get installments on time, so contact the agriculture department office of your district.
Keep checking the mobile number and your bank account number. Many times the installments get stuck due to entering wrong information. Instead of facing the same problem every time, it would be better if you go to the E-Mitra center and recheck all the details by entering your registration number.
