Uttar Pradesh tops in guava production
If we look at the status of guava production in All India, Uttar Pradesh has the highest production of guava in the country. Experts say that the climate and soil of Uttar Pradesh is favorable for guava production. Due to good yield, farmers also show interest in guava production. With this, they earn lakhs of rupees annually. According to the data of the National Horticulture Board, Uttar Pradesh has the highest production of guava at 21.78 percent.
Guava production status of other states
There is a need to know the status of guava production in states other than Uttar Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh is second in terms of guava production. Here 17.20 percent is produced. At number three, 9.62 percent guava is produced in Bihar. Andhra Pradesh is at number four. Here 7.42 percent guava is produced. Haryana has 6 percent guava. It is at number five. Bengal is at number six and Chhattisgarh at number seven. 4.51 percent guava is produced in Bengal and 4.14 percent in Chhattisgarh.
