Khwaja Asif said that the leaders of PPP and PML-N were jailed for protesting against the political persecution of political opponents in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

Khwaja said that PTI leaders had threatened courts and institutions to take up cases against the party leadership. He advised PTI leaders to deal politically and not take any action against anyone.
