U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Team India Prize Money: On Sunday, the Indian women’s team created history by defeating England by seven wickets in the final of the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2023. This is the first time that the women’s team has won the ICC Trophy. The Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) is very happy with this explosive performance of Team India and has announced to give crores of rupees to Team India.
BCCI secretary Jay Shah has announced a cash prize of Rs 5 crore for the Indian women’s under-19 cricket team and support staff. He said, “Congratulations to the Indian women’s team on winning the Under-19 World Cup. It is an unprecedented achievement as our young cricketers have made the country proud. Young players have shown their courage without fear.”

Shah invited the Indian Under-19 women’s team to be part of the celebrations at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad when the third T20 match between India and New Zealand is played on Wednesday. He said, “I invite Shafali Verma and her victorious team to join us at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and watch the 3rd T20 match on 1st February. This huge achievement definitely calls for celebration.”
