Maharashtra: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has rejected the survey which suggested that if elections were held now, the MVA alliance in the state would benefit. Eknath Shinde has said in response that the results of the recent local body elections were not considered in the survey. In the survey, out of 40 seats in Maharashtra, 34 seats were shown to the MVA alliance.
Eknath Shinde said that two plus two does not always make four in politics. NDA will break all records in the Lok Sabha elections to be held in the year 2024. So on the other hand, NCP chief Sharad Pawar has said on this survey that this survey shows the right picture about the power in the country. Sharad Pawar said that there is an anti-BJP atmosphere in the state and the country. NCP is trying to bring opposition parties together to counter BJP.
CM Shinde’s apprehension regarding the survey
In fact, India Today in association with CVoter conducted a survey in which if elections were held today, who would be benefitted and who would be harmed. According to this survey, the condition of NDA in Maharashtra was shown to be poor and Maha Aghadi was shown to be benefiting, about which CM Shinde has expressed apprehension. Shinde rejected these figures and said that he knows what is its sample size.
No work done in MVA government- Shinde
Eknath Shinde said that the MVA government did not do any work during its tenure, while his government is working at double the speed to cover the previous works. Even after all this why people will not vote for our alliance. He said that we will break all records in the Lok Sabha elections and is not afraid of any election.
