PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: Today the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has become a plan for the economic empowerment of the farmers. It has played an important role in strengthening the economic condition of small farmers. Under PM Kisan Yojana, 6,000 rupees are transferred every year to the bank account of the farmers. This amount is transferred in 3 installments of Rs 2,000 each, although for the past few times, Farmer Producer Organizations and Agriculture Experts are also appealing to increase the Samman Nidhi installments. This is also necessary because in the midst of rising inflation, the expenses in agriculture are also increasing. As part of the beginning of the budget session of Parliament on January 31, the government has presented the economic survey. Now the farmers are expected to get a new gift from the Agriculture Budget 2023-24.
Will the amount of 13th installment increase?
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, two thousand rupees each have been transferred in 12 installments through DBT to the bank accounts of the farmers. Now the farmers are eagerly waiting for the 13th installment, whose duration is from December 2022 to March 2023.
It is being speculated that on February 18, the 13th installment can be transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries. The agriculture budget will be presented before that. If the government makes any major announcement or change for the farmers associated with PM Kisan, then it is expected that the benefits will start with the 13th installment.

Verification work is going on in PM Kisan Yojana. Farmers are constantly being instructed to get e-KYC and land records verified. Many state governments have also issued official notifications. Already 1.86 crore ineligible farmers have been excluded from the list.
The verification process is not yet complete. As soon as it is completed, many lakh farmers can be removed once again. Meanwhile, the beneficiary list is being updated continuously. It would be good if eligible farmers also keep checking their names in the list from time to time.
