Education Budget 2023: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the Budget 2023. During his budget speech, the Finance Minister has made announcements for all sectors ranging from tax. Similarly, the Finance Minister has made big announcements for the education sector. In the budget, it has been said to start a National Digital Library for children to teenagers. Along with this, it has also been said to give training to 38,800 teachers.
During the budget 2023-24, the Eklavya model schools for tribals have been increased from Rs 2000 crore to Rs 5943 crore. There has also been talk of recruiting assistant teachers and training them. Let us know what other announcements have been made in the budget.
National Digital Library
In the budget, a big announcement has been made for the education sector regarding the digital library. The Finance Minister said that to reduce the loss of education after Kovid and to promote education, National Book Trust, Children’s Book Trust and other types of books and things related to education will be provided. The books kept in the digital library will be in both English and Hindi languages.
157 Medical College
With the aim of creating employment in the education sector and health, it has been said to open 157 new nursing medical colleges. Training program will be run here and training will be given to the students.
More than 38 thousand teachers will be recruited
For the upliftment of tribal students, the Finance Minister has announced to set up a school. 740 Eklavya Model Residential Schools will be opened. For this, the central government will recruit 38,000 teachers and support staff.
