Fasal Bima Claim: Rajasthan’s Chief Secretary Usha Sharma has issued instructions to assess the damage to the crops destroyed by frost, cold wave, rain and hailstorm, in which the concerned officials have been asked to complete the work of special Girdawari as soon as possible. The Chief Secretary has said that the work of special Girdawari of damage to crops should be done sensitively and sympathetically. He told that due to frost, cold wave and rain in many districts of the state, the cultivators have suffered a lot, although in this case the Revenue Department had issued instructions for special Girdawari on January 17, 2023 as well.
Farmers will get proper compensation
Rajasthan Chief Secretary Usha Sharma has instructed the officials that in view of the loss caused to the farmers due to crop failure, the work of Girdawari should be completed soon, so that the farmers can be adequately compensated.
Correct assessment in this regard will be done and the Girdawari report will be filed by the end of the week. He told that Patwari will be present on the spot for physical verification and will complete the work of Girdawari.
In this regard, the farmers should be informed in advance and the work should be completed according to the faith of the public representatives. In this regard, the inspection of the process of Girdawari will be done by the Land Records Inspector, Tehsildar and Sub-Divisional Officer.

Farmers got claim of 18,470 crores
Rajasthan’s Agriculture Minister Mr. Lal Chand Kataria said that under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, crop loss due to drought and excess rainfall in the state is compensated. In the last 4 years, 1.72 crore crop insurance policy holders have been given crop insurance claims of Rs 18,470 crore. The Agriculture Minister also informed that a meeting has also been held recently regarding the pending cases under PMFBY. Now the pending claims will also be given to the farmers soon.
