Sitting in Italy, he was asking for favors by calling senior officers in the name of the Vice President. The fraudster has been arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police from Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Delhi Police said that the accused had put the picture of the Vice President on his WhatsApp profile. And he had opened this WhatsApp account in his mobile after taking OTP from a friend.
The accused is a resident of Jammu
The name of the arrested accused is Gagandeep Singh, who is a resident of Jammu. Gagandeep was currently living in Offenango in Italy. The police have also recovered 2 mobile phones from the accused Gagandeep. Along with this, the police has also arrested a person named Ashwani Kumar.
