State government officials said that crop assistance scheme has been started to help the farmers affected by flood and drought. Maximum Rs 10,000 per hectare for crops of wheat, maize, gram, lentils, arhar, rye, sugarcane, onion and potato if the damage is more than 20 per cent, and Rs 20,000 for crops grown in two hectares. In case of loss of less than 20 percent of the crop, a maximum of Rs 7500 per hectare, a maximum of Rs 15 thousand on two hectares will be given as financial assistance. The average yield of the farmer for the last 7 years will be seen. On the basis of that, farmers will get compensation after analyzing this year’s produce.

Compensation will be given in September

Under the Fasal Sahayata Yojana, farmers will have to apply online on the portal of the Cooperative Department. Till March 31, farmers can apply on the portal. After this the details of all the farmers will reach the cooperative department. It will be the responsibility of the officers of the cooperative department whether the farmers have really suffered crop loss or not. All the details of the farmer will be filled on the basis of crop loss. In the investigation, it will be confirmed that the farmers whose crops have been damaged due to flood and drought. All the documents have to be uploaded by 31st July. When all this process will be completed. After that, the compensation amount will be given to the farmers in August and September.

If the farmers wish, they can apply online on the portal of the cooperative department. Farmers who are not able to apply online. They can register online with the help of the officials of the cooperative department. First farmers will have to fill their name and crop name online. When the farmer will be selected under the scheme. After that rakba, revenue receipt, and self attested certificate will have to be uploaded on the portal.
