Republic Day 2023: India is going to celebrate its 74th Republic Day on Thursday. All preparations have been completed regarding Republic Day. Meanwhile, on Wednesday (January 25), PM Modi interacted with NCC cadets, NSS volunteers and artists participating in the Republic Day programme.

Ishita Shukla, daughter of Bharatiya Janata Party MP Ravi Kishan, is also among the NCC participants attending the Republic Day event. Ishita Shukla will be among 148 women cadets of the National Cadet Corps to participate in the march-past during the Republic Day parade this year.

Kishan said, “My brave daughter Ishita Shukla has been working very hard for the last 3 years to serve our country. She is a cadet of 7 Girls Battalion of Delhi Directorate. Training in the fog.”

Sonali Sahu of Odisha will lead

Out of 659 girls who participated in the NCC camp, 148 have been selected to be a part of the Republic Day marching contingent. At the same time, Sonali Sahu of Odisha will lead the contingent of NCC parade girls. NCC will host its annual parade for the first time on January 28 at the Cariappa Parade Ground in Delhi.

At the same time, the Prime Minister said that NCC and NSS are such organizations, which connect the young generation with national goals and national concerns. The whole country has experienced the way the volunteers of NCC and NSS increased the potential of the country during the Corona period. In the last few weeks, I got a chance to meet the youth.
