Naba Kishore Das death: Leaders of various parties are expressing condolences on the murder of Odisha Health Minister Nab Kishore Das. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, “Demise of Minister Nab Kishore Das in Odisha government is very sad and unfortunate. My condolences to his family in this difficult time. May God give strength to his family to bear this loss.”
Politicians are mourning the death of Naba Das
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed grief over the death of Nab Kishore Das. He said that the absence of Nab Kishore Das among us is an irreparable loss. He said, ‘I am shocked and distressed by his unfortunate demise. Nabdas was invaluable to the government and the party. The doctors tried everything possible to save his life, but unfortunately he could not recover. His demise is a loss to the entire state of Odisha.
‘Biju Janata Dal was given strength’
The Chief Minister said that as a leader, Nab Kishore Das also played an important role in strengthening the Biju Janata Dal. He was a grassroots leader and irrespective of party politics, people of all parties used to respect him. In our Health Department, he had taken many successful initiatives for the benefit of the people.
Patnaik had entrusted the responsibility of Health Ministry
Please tell that Nab Kishore Das was considered a very close leader of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. When Nab Kishore Das came from the Congress to the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), Patnaik had entrusted him with the important responsibility of the Health Ministry. Recently, Nab Kishore Das came in limelight after donating heavily. He donated a gold urn worth more than one crore rupees to a temple in Maharashtra.
