Garuda Purana: The one who does these works is always blessed by Goddess Lakshmi, never remains sad

Garuda Purana, Lord Vishnu Niti: There is mention of 4 Vedas and 18 Mahapuranas in Sanatan Hinduism. Garuda Purana is also one of the 18 Mahapuranas. Generally, after the death of a relative in a Hindu family, Garuda Purana is recited at home for the whole 13 days. Garuda Purana is listened to by all the family members sitting together. It is said that the soul of the dead person also stays at home for 13 days and that too listens to the lessons of Garuda Purana.

By reciting Garuda Purana, the soul attains salvation by leaving the bondage of attachment, while the family members come to know about the rules and regulations, following which all the problems and sorrows of life go away. Some such works have been told in Garuda Purana, by doing which Goddess Lakshmi is pleased and blesses. There is no shadow of sorrow in the houses where these works are done.

Those who keep their kitchen clean and sleep after cleaning the utensils at night. Mother Annapurna resides at his house. It is also said in Garuda Purana that, leaving false utensils and keeping the kitchen dirty, Mother Lakshmi gets angry and never stays at home. That’s why keep the kitchen clean and first of all offer the food prepared in the kitchen to God.

Such people always have the blessings of their forefathers and family deities, due to which happiness remains at home. That’s why you must worship your family deities and ancestors. Along with this, perform Tarpan, Shradh or Pinddaan of ancestors on Amavasya Tithi or Pitrupaksha.
