Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in the Economic Budget 2022-23 presented on Wednesday that India is a hub of coarse cereals. India is far ahead in millets. Millets programs are being run for nutrition, food security and planning for farmers. Now the government has decided to start Shri Anna Yojana. The government has also planned to set up a Millet Research Center for nutritious grains. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has also called it the first budget of the financial period.
