Stock Market Opening On 2nd February 2023: Trading has started with a fall in the Indian stock market once again. Market sentiment has deteriorated due to investors selling, withdrawal of FPOs of Adani Group Enterprises. Due to which the BSE Sensex opened at 59,459 points down by 248 points, while the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty opened at 17,517 points down by 100 points.

In today’s trading session, buying is being seen in stocks of IT, FMCG, media, and consumer durables sectors. While selling is being seen in the shares of banking, auto, infra, metals, energy and pharma sectors. Midcap and Smallcap index is trading in green mark. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 15 stocks are trading with an increase and 15 stocks with a decline. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 19 stocks are trading with an increase while 31 stocks are trading with a decline.
