Mushroom Cultivation: In this era of modernity, our agriculture is also getting advanced. Now with the help of machines and new techniques, the work of farming has been made many times easier and convenient. The government is also continuously motivating the farmers to become self-sufficient by adopting techniques and advanced methods. For the convenience of the farmers, some state governments are also providing financial assistance, so that the cost of adopting the techniques does not burden the farmers. In this way, entrepreneurship is also being encouraged in agriculture. Some time ago such a model has been invented, through which now mushrooms can be produced in any season.
What is the new technique of mushroom farming
Rakesh Singh, a farmer living in Gaya district of Bihar, has invented a new technique of mushroom cultivation, in which the mushroom production unit has been made using straw, wheat husk and air conditioner. Rakesh Singh says that here we are taking the production of mushroom in Parali. It is a cool season crop, so air conditioners have also been installed to control the temperature.
It is obvious that mushroom is a cool season crop, but growing mushroom in opposite temperature is a big challenge in itself, but with the help of this technique, mushroom plants get suitable temperature, due to which there is less chance of loss in mushroom production. It happens. This technique of mushroom production can prove to be a profitable deal in the coming summer.
Rakesh Singh says that with this technique, farmers will get mushroom production for 12 months, which will open new avenues of employment. Rakesh Singh, who has been producing mushrooms since the year 2020, is taking more than 300 kilograms of production daily today.
“The idea was to make in-house mushrooms and employ farmers, who don’t earn on a regular basis. With this unit, I am able to help them earn sustainably. Demand for our mushrooms is high, sometimes, more than the produce he said pic.twitter.com/sUICYa5pET

You can also grow mushrooms
No large farms are required to grow mushrooms, rather this fungus can be grown indoors in a room of 6 by 6, by putting a hut on the roof or even a small unit continuously, although The plant needs darkness to grow, the plant starts to deteriorate in the light.
It does not even require soil to grow it, rather the straw soaked in water acts as a raw material. Yes, vermicompost can be used as a fertilizer. This also helps in achieving better production. All these things are sealed by filling them in polybags with mushroom spawn, so that the flow of air does not reach.
Mushroom is a nutritious fruit
Let us tell you that the consumption of mushrooms keeps on supplying Vitamin-D in the body. Due to this, the immunity of the body becomes strong and there is no risk of getting diseases, although Vitamin D is not present in many vegetables, that’s why there is a lot of demand for mushrooms in the market. Selenium is also present in it, which also helps in weight loss.
