Wheat Procurement In MP: Paddy procurement for Kharif season is going on in many states of the country. Some states have procured paddy while some are procuring paddy at a very slow pace. That paddy procurement is very fast in Chhattisgarh. Whereas in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh paddy procurement is not able to catch that much progress. But now, apart from paddy, the state governments have also started registration for the purchase of wheat for the Rabi season. The news has come to the fore from this state that farmers have registered their purchase of wheat.
Registration starts in MP from February 6
Sowing of Rabi season crops is almost done in the country. Wheat is the main Rabi crop. In Madhya Pradesh, wheat is to be procured at the support price in Rabi marketing year 2023-24. Regarding this, the exercise has been started from the level of the state government. Registration for wheat purchase in Madhya Pradesh has been started from 6th February. This purchase will last till February 28. Regarding this, preparations have been started in all the districts of Madhya Pradesh.
66 registration centers made in the district
The state government is trying to register more and more farmers for the purchase of wheat. Registration centers are also being made for this. At the level of the Food Department, 66 registration centers have been set up in the district. Although some changes have been made in its process.
Registration can be done both free and paid
Madhya Pradesh government has given facility to farmers that farmers can register free of cost. Apart from this, arrangements have been made for registration of Alka farmers for a fee of Rs 50. Keeping in view the problems of the farmers, a new decision has been taken. Actually, earlier the farmer used to get a message on mobile to sell the crop. On the same date the farmer could sell the crop. But now the system has been changed. Now the farmer can go and sell paddy at any time.
Farmers will have to pay here
Farmers will have to pay the fee at some places. Farmers will have to pay a fee for registration at online kiosks, common service centers, public service centers and cyber cafes. Here farmers will have to pay a fee of Rs 50 for registration. If you want to register for free, you will be able to register for free on the Gram Panchayat, District Panchayat, Tehsil Office, Cooperative Society, Registration Center operated at the level of marketing organization and MP Kisan App.
