Ranji Trophy: The third quarter final match of this season of Ranji Trophy is being played between Saurashtra and Punjab team at Rajkot ground. In this match, which started on January 31, the 31-year-old record of Ranji Trophy was seen breaking. In fact, batsman Partha Bhut, playing for Saurashtra, played a century while batting at number 9.
With his innings, the Saurashtra team was able to score 303 runs in their first innings. At one point in this match, Saurashtra had lost its 8 wickets at the score of 147. After this, Parth handled the innings from one end and played an unbeaten inning of 111 runs in 155 balls to put the team in a strong position.
Partha Bhut broke the record of 31-year-old Atul Vasan with his innings, in which he scored an unbeaten 110 while batting at number 10 in March 1992 against Bengal.

Talking about 25-year-old Parth Bhut, he made his debut in the 2019 Ranji season, since then he has managed to play only 7 matches. Parth Bhut is naturally a left arm spin bowler.
On the other hand, if we talk about this quarter-final match against Saurashtra and Punjab, where the Saurashtra team was reduced to 303 runs, the Punjab team had scored 18 runs without any loss till the end of the first day’s play. Apart from Parth Bhut, Snell Patel played an inning of 70 runs for Saurashtra.
