how to get benefit
According to the notification issued by the Bihar government, SC-ST and extremely backward farmers will get subsidy on the purchase of agricultural machinery on priority.
- To buy agricultural machinery with a subsidy of Rs 8,000 or more, a letter of approval will have to be submitted from the Assistant Director of the Agricultural Engineering Department.
- Approval letter issued by the Block Agriculture Officer is also mandatory for purchasing agricultural machinery with subsidy of less than Rs.8,000 except pump set.
