How liquid detergent served instead of fruit juice
According to the report of the South China Morning Post-SCMP newspaper, a restaurant in eastern China served liquid detergent instead of fruit juice to its 7 customers. When the condition of the customers started deteriorating after drinking the juice, they realized that the taste of what they drank was strange and it was not juice. Seeing the deteriorating health, these customers were immediately taken to the hospital. There the liquid was taken out from his stomach through gastric suction. Gastric suction is also known as pumping of the stomach. There is a procedure that is used by doctors in emergency to quickly empty the contents of the stomach.
It has been told in the SCMP report that this incident took place on January 16 in Zhejiang province. According to information, Sister Wukong was having dinner at the restaurant with her family and friends. During this, the restaurant’s waitress brought a bottle. She mistook this bottle for fruit juice. Claiming this, Wukong had posted its video on social media, although he later removed it. In the video, the woman also claimed that she and 6 other people were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment when they realized that they had mistakenly consumed a strange-tasting drink.
This incident happened due to weak eyes of the waitress
The restaurant in Zhejiang province where the incident took place told customers that the waitress had erred in serving liquid detergent instead of fruit juice. Actually, this waitress had weak eyesight, due to which she took a bottle of liquid detergent to serve instead of a bottle of fruit juice. According to a police officer of Shayan police station, the condition of all 7 people is stable and after recovering, they will demand compensation from the restaurant.
Wukong from the hospital bed, “Let me show you all these people lying here. The seven of us ate dinner together and had to pay for it by pumping our stomachs.” She claimed that her husband took the first sip of the juice and told other family members sitting there that it tasted bitter. The woman said, “I took a sip and my throat immediately got sore.”
Later the waitress also accepted that she had made a mistake, she was not experienced and she has a weak eye. According to the SCMP, Wukong was also told by the waitress that she usually does not work at the restaurant and that she had come there only that day to help. It is still not clear what kind of floor cleaner was served to the guests. Meanwhile, a search on a Chinese online marketplace found several floor cleaner brands coming in orange juice-like packaging. The instructions written in their packaging are often written in foreign languages, people who do not know these languages mistake it for some other type of goods.
