Crop Insurance: Due to adverse weather conditions, the situation is not in the interest of the farmers since few days. Earlier, the mustard crop was ruined due to frost, now due to the rains, the crops have been flooded. There are reports of water logging and damage in many areas. In such adverse circumstances, you will have to inform your insurance company within 72 hours for compensation under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. The Government of Rajasthan has released the district-wise list of insurance companies and helpline numbers of farmers, where they can call and demand claims by giving information about their crop defects.
Roll the phone on these numbers
District wise helpline numbers have been issued for the farmers of Rajasthan. If the insurance companies do not pick up the phone, then the local agriculture officer or the district branch of the insurance company can also be contacted.
- Give information to Kisan Agriculture Insurance Company of India Limited of Baran, Dhaulpur, Hanumangarh, Barmer, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Udaipur districts on toll free number 1800-419-6116.
- In Banswara, Nagaur, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Pali and Pratapgarh districts Reliance General Insurance Company Limited has to be informed at 1800-102-4088.
- Ajmer, Jalore, Sawai Madhopur and Kota districts can call Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited on 1800-209-5959.
- Farmers of Bundi, Dungarpur, Jodhpur district have to inform Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited on the number- 1800-266-4141.
- You can report crop loss to HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company Limited, Jaisalmer, Sikar, Tonk at 1800-266-0700.
- Bikaner, Chittorgarh, Universal Sompo General Insurance Company Limited of Sirohi can inform on number-1800-200-5142.
- In Churu, Bhilwara, Rajsamand, Dausa, Jhalawar, Sriganganagar and Alwar districts, inform by calling SBI General Insurance Company Limited’s number- 1800-209-1111.

Farmers will get compensation
Kanaram, Agriculture Commissioner in Rajasthan, told that if at present there is damage to farmers’ crop due to rain, hailstorm, waterlogging, then insurance claim will be given on individual basis. Between such incidents, the insurance company working in the district will have to be informed within 72 hours.
Toll free numbers have been issued for this. If the farmer brothers want, they can also inform on the Fasas Bima application. Insurance can also give information about the loss by submitting a form to the district office of the insurance company, the district agriculture office or the concerned bank.
Do this work quickly
Rajasthan Agriculture Minister Lalchand Kataria appealed to the farmers and said that the farmers who have suffered crop loss due to the uncertainties of the weather in the crop should deposit their money as soon as possible for compensation. Register a complaint, so that farmers can be given benefits as per the provisions of the scheme.
