Women Farmer Scheme: The government of Madhya Pradesh is working fast towards the economic empowerment of women. The state government had launched the Ladli Laxmi scheme some time back. In this series, the Ladli Bahna Yojana has now been launched, under which women coming from poor and middle class families will be given annual assistance of Rs 12,000 directly into their bank accounts. This amount will be given as an installment of Rs 1,000 every month only to those women who do not come under the purview of income tax.
According to the report, Madhya Pradesh government’s Ladli Bahna Yojana is being described as a master stroke to win the assembly elections. In fact, even in 2007, the Shivraj government had launched the Ladli Laxmi scheme, whose positive impact was seen in the 2008 and 2015 assembly elections.
How to get the benefit of Ladli Bahna Yojana
Only women of Madhya Pradesh can take advantage of Ladli Bahna Yojana. Women of every caste, religion and society have every right to join the Ladli Bahna Yojana. Provided, Madhya Pradesh is a resident of the state and does not come under the purview of income tax. If this is the case, every month the installment of Rs 1,000 i.e. Rs 12,000 will be directly transferred to the bank account annually. According to an estimate, about 1 crore women of the state can take advantage of the Ladli Bahna Yojana.
what is the application process
Although the official announcement of Ladli Bahna Yojana has been made, but applications will be received only from International Women’s Day i.e. March 8, 2023. According to the report, women will be made aware of this scheme by visiting cities and villages and they will also be made to fill application forms. Once the application process is completed, from June 2023 itself, Rs 1,000 will start coming into the bank account every month. The maximum benefit of this scheme will be to the women of the farmer’s family.
Estimated expenditure of 60,000 crores
According to an estimate, according to the rules and eligibility set by the Madhya Pradesh government, 1 crore women of the state will be benefited from the Ladli Bahna scheme, for which the state government will have to spend Rs 12,000 crore every year. In this way, an expenditure of about 60,000 crores is estimated in 5 years.
