Should hijab be banned in schools? The public gave mixed opinion on this question. This survey was released on Thursday (January 26). 1,40,917 people had participated in the survey. Apart from this, the opinion of 1,05,008 people from the interviews conducted regularly by CVoter have also been used.

People’s opinion on Hijab ban?

According to this survey, 57 percent people supported the hijab ban. At the same time, there were 26 percent people who said that the hijab should not be banned. Let us inform that in the case of hijab ban in educational institutions in Karnataka, a two-judge bench of the Supreme Court had given a split verdict. After which a larger bench of the Supreme Court is hearing the matter. The order of the Karnataka High Court was challenged in the petition.

3 judges bench will be formed

The Supreme Court has listed the matter for urgent hearing. A bench of three judges will be formed for the hearing. This bench will decide whether hijab ban in educational institutions is right or wrong. Explain that the Karnataka High Court had refused to lift the ban on hijab in educational institutions.
