Pervez Musharraf Death: Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf died in Dubai on Sunday after a prolonged illness. Musharraf was 79 years old. He was undergoing treatment at an American hospital in Dubai. Pervez Musharraf was the mastermind of the 1999 Kargil war between India and Pakistan.
After 2 years of the war, there was a summit in Agra to improve the relations between India and Pakistan. Renowned archaeologist KK Mohammed recalled the visit of former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf at that time. When Musharraf was so impressed by the beauty of the Taj Mahal that the first question he asked upon seeing the Taj Mahal was who built it.

KK Mohammed was the Superintending Archaeologist of Agra Circle in the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) in 2001. At that time Musharraf had visited India for the Agra Summit with the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. At that time the relations between India and Pakistan were very bad but Musharraf’s visit to India was very good. The summit talks were not successful.
Musharraf’s wife had asked many questions
Recalling the Pakistani general’s nearly hour-long visit to the Taj Mahal, archaeologist Muhammad said, “Musharraf was very impressed by the beauty of the Taj Mahal. He visited the Taj for an hour. He accompanied his wife Sheeba Musharraf. Had admired the immense beauty of the Taj. Musharraf’s first question he asked me was who built it. Musharraf had seen the Taj Mahal on the evening of 15 July 2001.” KK Mohammed had made him visit the Taj Mahal. Parvez Musharraf’s Begum Sheeba had asked Mohammad a lot of questions. For Musharraf’s visit to the Taj Mahal, the houses of Tajganj and Fatehabad on the Mall Road were painted in one colour.
